RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith basketball program fell 70-55 Saturday afternoon against Methodist University inside Weatherspoon Gymnasium.

De'ja Morgan scored a career-high 26 points shooting 50 percent from the field while also grabbing six rebounds.
The Angels trailed by 12 at the halftime break and outscored Methodist 19-13 in the third quarter but ran out of gas down the stretch.
Meredith forced 15 turnovers and shot a better percentage from three than the Monarchs.
Sophomore
Rylie Wade flirted with a double-double grabbing eight rebounds and scoring 10.
The Avenging Angels are back in action at home tomorrow when they host cross-town rival William Peace University at 2 p.m. for their Alumni game.
