CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT ROANOKE INVITATIONAL

Cross Country Competes at Roanoke Invitational

Salem, Va. – In the final tune up competition prior to the USA South Cross Country Conference Championships. The Avenging Angels traveled to Salem, Virginia to compete in the Roanoke XC Invitational. The large field of NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III teams saw a great competition as Meredith finished the event in 12th place behind team points winners Liberty University. Sophomore Delaney Bundy led the group to finish in 79th. Junior duo of Laura Brown and Hailey Bilski 95th and 108th respectively. Two freshman rounded out the scoring 5 as Ashleigh Modlin and Elisabeth Modlin finished 115th and 125th respectively.

Coach Field Miller on the day, "We have needed a solid day all season and finally took advantage of the opportunity for great competition, course, and weather. We saw three personal best on the day and continue to develop this group.

The Angels will be back in action on November 2nd for the 2025 edition of the USA South Cross Country Championships hosted by North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount, NC.
