Caitlin Brown clocked in to earn a 10th place finish.
Senior
Dahlia Romero-Ambrocio and sophomore MacKenzie Caldwell rounded out Meredith's scoring five, placing 13th and 15th respectively.
Head Coach
Field Miller praised the team's performance, highlighting the balance of experienced leadership and promising young talent.
"It was a strong day for this group, most of this group opened the season today," said Miller. "The team had solid composure as we were able to get past those first race jitters and move our focus towards the work ahead. Addy's win was extremely fun to watch — she raced with confidence and composure, and it was a great opportunity for her to learn some front running skills."
The Avenging Angels will return to action on Friday September 12th in Misenheimer, NC for the Pfeiffer University Cross Country Invitational.
