Delaney Bundy, who placed 7th in a new school-record time of 21:54.80. Bundy's top-10 finish earned her USTFCCCA All-Region honors and secured an individual qualification to the 2025 NCAA DIII Cross Country National Championships—making her just the second runner in program history to advance to the national meet.
Freshman Juana Silva Jimenez capped her impressive debut season with a breakthrough race of her own, finishing 25th in 22:54.20 to also earn USTFCCCA All-Region recognition. Senior Carly O'Toole wrapped up her cross country career with a strong 59th-place finish in 24:18.00, while freshman duo Addison Doran (69th, 24:52.00) and Madison Moyer (86th, 25:19.70) rounded out the scoring five. Sophomore Ashleigh Modlin (133rd, 27:14.50) and senior Laura Brown (143rd, 27:56.70) added depth to the lineup in a field packed with regional talent.
With their collective performances, the Avenging Angels secured an impressive 8th-place team finish, closing the season strong behind team champions Emory University. 8th place matches the program best at the Regional Championships.
Head Coach Field Miller on the day: "I couldn't have been prouder of this group today and all season. They were disciplined, had hard work ethic, and we just had a lot of fun. It was exhilarating to watch this group compete day in and day out and see their hard work pay off with some great performances on a great day. They made it a Great Day!"
The Avenging Angels now turn their eyes to the NCAA DIII National Championships, where Bundy will represent Meredith on the biggest stage in Division III cross country.
