FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Meredith basketball program finished the 2023-24 regular season with a 60-39 loss at Methodist inside the Riddle Center.
Methodist jumped out to a 21-6 lead in the first quarter and stretched that lead to 18 at the half. The Angels cut the lead to eight heading into the final quarter of action before being outscored 22-9 in the fourth.
The Wade sisters combined for 23 rebounds as sophomore
Rylie Wade tallied 13 with eight points and freshman
Skyler Wade grabbed 10 rebounds while also scoring eight. Senior
De'ja Morgan led the team in scoring with nine.
The Angels will await the final standings inside the USA South to see who they will match up with in the conference tournament.
