RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith lacrosse program rolled past Huntingdon College Tuesday morning 27-4 in the First Round of the USA South Tournament.
Sophomore
Reese Walker tallied her 100th career assist as an Avenging Angel. Walker led the offense with four goals and seven assists while also causing three turnovers and picking up four groundballs.
Senior
Arrianna May scored six goals while freshman
Kenzie Todd and junior
Ava Spradley scored four each.
Meredith led 12-1 at the end of the first quarter and headed into halftime leading 17-2. They outshot Huntingdon 46-9.
The Angels will await the winner of Piedmont and Pfeiffer to see who they face in the USA South Tournament Semis on Thursday.Â
