Sophomore Emilee Lewis led the inning off with a single followed by a couple of walks in the inning from senior Mia Staggs and sophomore Avery Puryear. Sophomore Lillie Davis would come up and double to left center giving the Angels a 2-0 lead.

The second game was scoreless through five innings. Meredith tallied 11 hits compared to just four for Greensboro. The Pride took the lead in the bottom of the sixth off a solo home run.
