Box Score Roanoke, Va. - After a strong weekend the Meredith volleyball program was defeated by host Roanoke this evening by the scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-18. The Avenging Angels struggled to find their rhythm on both offense and defense, finishing the match with a hitting percentage of .112 and only two blocks. Senior Emma Duncan led the team with 10 kills, while 5th-year Hannah Jo Jablonski and sophomore Caitlyn Russell anchored the defense, each contributing 9 digs. Meredith looks to bounce back next Wednesday, September 18th, as they travel to NC Wesleyan to open up conference play at 7 p.m.
