Volleyball Splits Two Matches on Day Two of the Raleigh Invitational

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Raleigh, N.C. - After an opening win yesterday the Meredith volleyball program was defeated by visiting Bridgewater College this morning by the scores of 25-21, 29-27, 25-18. In the match Emma Duncan had 10 Kills, with no errors, hitting a .333. Megan Murray added 2 service aces and 9 digs in the loss.

In match number two of the day the Avenging Angels defeated the visiting Owls of Warren Wilson College in three sets 25-19, 25-20, 25-15. Kinley Copeland led the way on offense with a .571 hitting percentage. Emma Duncan again led the team in Kills with 10 and a .391 hitting percentage.

The Avenging Angels are back in action on Tuesday, September 10 at 7pm, for a non-conference match up against Roanoke College in Salem, Va.
