Avenging Angels Stay Hot With 3–0 Win Against Brevard

Brevard, N.C. — The Meredith College volleyball team recorded a strong 3–0 victory over Brevard on Saturday morning inside Boshamer Gymnasium. With the win, the Avenging Angels improved to 12–7 overall and 6–3 in USA South play.

Set 1

Meredith came out sharp, establishing control early with balanced offense and steady floor play. Caitlyn Russell led the attack with several key kills, while Megan Murray contributed strong service points and consistent floor coverage. The Angels closed the opening set 25–14, taking a 1–0 lead.

Set 2

The Avenging Angels carried momentum into the second set, with Russell continuing to pace the offense and Murray adding timely serves. The team's defensive communication kept Brevard off balance, and Meredith captured the set 25–20, moving to a 2–0 advantage.

Set 3

Meredith finished strong in the third, spreading the offense effectively and controlling the pace. Russell continued her strong play, contributing several key kills, while Murray added important service points. Meredith closed the set 25–17, completing the sweep and securing a decisive conference victory.
