Set 1 — Meredith 25, N.C. Wesleyan 15
Meredith controlled the opening set from the start, running a balanced attack and forcing Wesleyan into errors. The Avenging Angels limited the Battling Bishops to a negative hitting percentage in the frame and used steady serving and defensive coverage to build separation. Setter Lillie Davis ran an efficient offense, and the back row led by Megan Murray kept Wesleyan from stringing points together.
Set 2 — Meredith 25, N.C. Wesleyan 13
The Angels came out even sharper in the second set, tightening blocking and converting more swings to keep Wesleyan off rhythm. Meredith's offense continued to find multiple scoring options while the defense created transition chances. The result was a quick, decisive set that put Meredith firmly in control of the match.
