GREENSBORO, N.C. | Meredith College lacrosse opened conference play with a dominant 24-1 victory over Greensboro College on Tuesday night. The Avenging Angels scored 12 goals in the first quarter and didn't look back.
Allison June Mabe,
Kenzie Todd, and
Reese Walker spearheaded the dominant offensive performance combining for 10 goals, 14 assists, and 24 points.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Bailey Swails and Allison June Mabe each scored in the opening minute of the game. Gabrielle Romano scored a man up goal to increase the Avenging Angels' lead. Kenzie Todd netted her third goal of the game with 9:58 left to give Meredith the 9-0 lead.
- Ava Spradley found the back of the net one minute into the second frame. Brynlyn ManWaring scored Greensboro's lone goal of the contest with 9:57 left in the quarter. Romano and Mabe tacked on two more goals for the Avenging Angels, giving them the 17-1 advantage going into the locker room.
- In the third quarter, Gabrielle Romano passed it to Regan Amiott, who buried her shot into the back of the net for her first collegiate goal. Arianna Rundgren scored her first collegiate goal with two minutes left in the frame to put Meredith up 21-1.
- The Avenging Angels tacked on three more goals in the final quarter to walk away with the 24-1 victory.
- Allison June Mabe scored a game-high five goals.
- Reese Walker found the back of the net twice and dished out six assists for eight points.
- Kenzie Todd had another monster game and finished with 11 points on three goals and eight assists. Swails and Romano also tallied three goals each.
- Sophie LeClaire and Walker each had four caused turnovers.
- Meredith won 22 of the 28 total draw controls. Bailey Swails and Ava Spradley had six draw controls and Madison Dean had five.
- Amelia Money got the start in goal for the Avenging Angels and picked up the win, making three saves.
