RALEIGH, N.C. | Meredith College Lacrosse won their eleventh straight USA South Tournament title on Saturday afternoon. The Avenging Angels defeated Methodist 22-4 to capture the 2025 tournament title.
Reese Walker earned Tournament MVP honors.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Methodist put together a strong first quarter. After Lauryn Turner scored the game's first goal, Maddie Hagler got the Monarchs on the board. Shortly after, Kennedy Martin found space and rifled a shot that found the back of the net to give Methodist the 2-1 lead. Kenzie Todd scored with 7:54 left in the quarter to even the score at two.
- The deadlock at two shifted dramatically in the last minute of the quarter. Kaitlyn Coleman scored for the Monarchs to put them ahead 3-2 with 59 seconds left. Ava Spradley and Reese Walker scored back-to-back goals for the Avenging Angels to steal the lead, 4-3, going into the second quarter.
- Meredith found their normal high-octane offense in the second quarter netting 11 goals and holding Methodist scoreless. Kenzie Todd's consecutive scores at 10:04 and 7:50 boosted Meredith's energy and resulted in the extended scoring run.
- Meredith led 15-3 at the break.
- Elle White dominated the third quarter for the Avenging Angels. She scored a hat-trick. Tallying her third goal with 2:50 left in the frame.
- Mikayla Ramos scored Methodist's final goal of the game, finding space near the crease and capitalizing on the shot.
- Bailey Swails, Logan Campbell, and Kenzie Todd scored Meredith's final three goals as Meredith captured their eleventh straight tournament title.
- Kenzie Todd had an incredible championship performance coming up clutch with two goals in the second to spark the team. She finished the game with 7 points on 5 goals, 2 assists, and 10 shots.
- Reese Walker cemented herself as the tournament MVP scoring five goals and one assist in the victory.
- In their final home games, Lauryn Turner scored three goals and added an assist for a four-point outing and Ava Spradley tallied a goal and an assist.
- White ended her first USA South Championship game with four goals on six shots.
- Madi Horrell got another championship win in net, recording three saves.
