SEWANEE, Tenn. - In a battle of two solid teams, Maryville was victorious in three sets over the Avenging Angels in their second match of the day at the Sewanee Invitational . Match scores were, 23-25, 17-25, 21-25. Leading the way for the Angels was Sophomore

Lillie Davis collected 10 and 11 assists respectively. Junior
Megan Murray had a match high 13 digs.
In the first match of the season Meredith was triumphant in three sets over Huntingdon by the scores of 27-25, 25-11, 25-20. The Angels came out and took care of business to start the 2025 season. Sophomore
Delaney Lowery lead the team in hitting with a .421 hitting percentage on 19 swings. Junior
Kinley Copeland was right behind her hitting a .400. Junior
Caitlyn Russell and Freshman
Caroline Prease led the team in digs with 10 and 9 respectively.
Meredith is back in action tomorrow at the Sewanee Invitational as they play Berea at 9am CST and host Sewanee at 1pm CST. Both games will be livestreamed.
