Box Score
ASHLAND, Va. - Meredith College field hockey traveled to Randolph-Macon for their fifth all-time match-up. The game was at a stalemate for the first two quarters, but the Jackets found the back of the net during the second half, ending the game with a 3-0 victory.

How it Happened:
The Avenging Angels held their ground in the first quarter and were able to defend the seven shots Randolph-Macon notched. Molly Click, the Angels goalie, had four saves.

Meredith intensified their attack and gained two corners, but were unable to find the back of the net in their offensive attack. The Angel's defense once again defended seven shots and allowed only one corner, ending the first half with a scoreless tie.

In the third quarter, Meredith continued to battle and saved five shots on goal, this being their highest saves in any quarter this match. Unfortunately, this did not stop the Jackets from scoring their first point.

The Angels came back hungry and earned two more corners, tallying three more shots on goal, but none converted. Meredith defended eleven more shots from Randolph-Macon. But the Jackets were successful on two shots making the game 3-0 at the final whistle.
