RALEIGH, N.C. - Meredith soccer left no doubt in a dominant 3-0 home win over William Peace on Wednesday night in Raleigh.
The Avenging Angels controlled play throughout and converted a goal late in the first half, while adding two more in the second half to put the game out of reach late.

All three goals were assisted as the Angels' shared the ball well throughout the contest.
While Meredith held a distinct 10-4 advantage in the shot count in the first half, it took until the 41st minute for them to break through. But when the did, it was on a beautiful goal as

Francine Rast, who has scored in each of Meredith's last two home contests.

Meredith continued to control play with stifling defense in the second half, holding the 1-0 advantage until the 73rd minute, when
Claire Wagner delivered a low cross that found the foot of
Rachel Ward, who put away the finish to make it 2-0.

Sadie Jones in the 88th minute to make it 3-0, where it stood the rest of the way.
