2025-26 Halo Awards

The Meredith College Athletics Department gathered to celebrate the 2025-26 athletic year at the annual Halo Awards, recognizing student-athletes for their hard work, leadership, and accomplishments throughout the year.

Student-athletes, coaches, and athletics staff came together to celebrate another successful year for Meredith Athletics, honoring achievements both on and off the field throughout the evening.

Each program presented team awards to recognize standout performances, leadership, dedication, and contributions to their teams throughout the season.

In addition to team awards, Meredith Athletics also recognized several student-athletes with department-wide honors.

The Iron Angel Award, presented by the Meredith strength and conditioning staff, was awarded to Caroline Prease for her dedication and commitment in the weight room throughout the year.

Two student-athletes were recognized with Player of the Year honors. Delaney Bundy earned the award for her performances in cross country and track & field, while Lillie Davis was honored for her accomplishments in both volleyball and softball. Both student-athletes were recognized for excelling and making strong impacts in multiple sports throughout the year.

The Dean Burris Award was presented to Sierra Grande of the field hockey team for her leadership, character, and impact within Meredith Athletics.

The Jackie Myers Award was presented to Reese Walker. The award honors a student-athlete who displays perseverance, determination, and an unwavering spirit, reflecting the impact and legacy of longtime Meredith Athletics Director Jackie Myers.

The Halo Awards served as a night to celebrate the commitment, achievements, and lasting impact of Meredith student-athletes across all programs during the 2025-26 academic year.
