Staunton, Va. - The Meredith soccer team bounced back with a 9-0 USA South conference victory over Mary Baldwin.

Meredith (7-3, 1-1 USA South) was led by a hat trick of three goals by Alex Calvert. She scored Meredith's first two goals and the fourth on the day for the Avenging Angels. Danielle Lee added one and Mary Kate Watson put one in to finish Meredith's first half scoring to end with a 5-0 lead.

The second half saw four more goals from the Angels including a second from Lee and goals from Jesse Davis, Eliza Evans and Maddie Burkey.

Meredith next hosts Averett on Friday at 7 p.m.
