Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith tennis team hosted a double header on Saturday with non-conference N.C. Central and a USA South conference home opener with Mary Baldwin.

The Avenging Angels (3-1, 2-0 USA South) hosted NCAA Division I N.C. Central to open the day. The Eagles took the match 8-1. The #3 doubles combination of Molly Parks and Casey Collins were the lone win for Meredith.

The second match on the day saw Meredith to open their home conference season against the Fighting Squirrels. Meredith easily won the match 9-0.

Meredith next travels to Pheiffer on Tuesday.
