Misenheimer, N.C. – Pfeiffer University didn't drop a single set cruising to a 9-0 victory over Meredith College in women's tennis action on Tuesday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center. The Lady Falcons improve to 8-4 overall while Meredith falls to 3-2.

Pfeiffer swept through doubles action as Alena Krutkina and Jonnell Carpenter scored an 8-3 at number one while Patty Dominguez and Maddy Billeter went 8-2 in the middle position. Meredith's Casey Collins and Mollie Musgrave put up a fight in the third doubles match, but fell late to the Lady Falcons' Catie Thomas and Chelsi Haefele 8-5. In singles action, Pfeiffer took all six matches and cruised to a 9-0 victory.

Meredith next travels to Methodist on Wednesday to continue their conference schedule.
