Burlington, N.C. - The Meredith tennis team rolled through Averett with a 8-1 victory in the USA South Quarterfinals. The Avenging Angels will next play 3# Christopher Newport in the Semi Finals on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Meredith got things going with a tough win at #1 singles as Ashley Pearsall and Kathryn Maples pulled out a 9-7 victory. #2 doubles Casey Collins and Alison Flanagan won by a 8-2 score and Meredith gained a default win at #3.

In singles play, four of the five of the matches played saw Meredith take wins.
