Danville, Va. - The Meredith tennis team finished a successful weekend by winning 8-1 at Averett University.

Meredith began the day taking all of the doubles matches. The combination of Kathryn Maples and Ashley Pearsall won 8-5 while Mollie Musgrave and Casey Collins won 8-2 and Alison Flanagan and Betty Edwards won by default.

In singles play Maples, Collins, Flanagan, Edwards, and Musgrave all picked up wins.

Meredith hosts Peace on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
