Ferrum, Va. - The Meredith soccer team gained their fourth tie on the year and second in the conference on Sunday.  The AVenging Angels tied Ferrum 1-1 in double over time.

Ferrum (8-5-2, 4-1-1 USA South) got on the board first and took the 1-0 half time lead.  The Panthers scored at the 33 minute mark as Kara Pegram scored.

Meredith (4-7-4, 1-3-2) fought throughout the game and tied the score up with less than three minutes left of regulation.  Eliza Evans scored on an assist from Jesse Davis to tie the game.  The game went through two scoreless 10 minute over times.  

The game was very evenly played as Ferrum held a slight advatage on shots 25-20.  

Meredith completes their home schedule on Satuday and Sunday as they host Christopher Newport and N.C. Wesleyan.  Both games are scheduled for 2 p.m. starts.
