Lynchburg, Va. - The Meredith soccer team traveled out of conference to take on Lynchburg on Sunday.  The Avenging Angels(3-5-3) fell to the Hornets 9-0.

Lynchburg (10-2) scored five in the first half and four in the second to roll to a 9-0 win.  The Hornets out shot Meredith 26-6.

Meredith now faces the remainder of their USA South schedule as they have seven games remaining.  They will start on Saturday as they host Shenandoah at 2 p.m.
