Staunton, Va. - The Meredith tennis team continued their winning way in the conference.  The Avenging Angels (3-7, 2-0 USA South) beat Mary Baldwin (0-5, 0-1) in straight sets, winning 9-0.

The doubles teams of #1 Ashley Pearsall/Mary Lawrence Newton and #3 Puja Patel and Zannah Webster both won 8-0 while #2 Mollie Musgrave/Betty Edwards won 8-1.  The singles matches fell in similar fashion, with the Avenging Angels not giving up one game combined. 

Meredith returns to action on Wednesday as conference foe Methodist visits at 3:30 p.m.
