RALEIGH, N.C. - Junior Avenging Angel Puja Patel claimed the lone win in today's 8-1 conference loss to league-leader Methodist University.

The Monarchs improved to 6-0 in the league, 10-2 overall, while Meredith (6-5, 3-1 USA South) suffered their first conference loss this season.

Meredith postponed Sunday's match versus Greensboro to April 2 and is slated to hit the courts again Tuesday, March 26, at 1 p.m. versus Christopher Newport.
