Box Score RALEIGH, N.C. - Meredith College rookie goalkeeper Jaisa Loch recorded a second shutout on the weekend as the Avenging Angels defeated rival William Peace 3-0 in Sunday's USA South action.
Christa Jackson scored her third goal of the season in the third minute of play today. She stripped the William Peace defender of the ball and drove in for a score.
With just under five minutes remaining in the half, Rachel Didier slipped a shot past the Pacer goalie to give Meredith a two-point lead heading into the break. Danielle Lee recorded her 11th season assist on the play.
The third and final goal for the day came in the 59th minute on a penalty kick from Jamison Kidd.
Loch tallied a pair of stops in her 10th career win, and Pacer keeper Shannon Maddox recorded four in the loss.
