FERRUM, Va. - Meredith College Avenging Angel Danielle Lee scored the game winner in Sunday's 1-0 overtime victory at Ferrum. Anna Smither assisted on the play to keep Meredith atop the USA South standings with just one game remaining in regular season play.

Meredith outshot the Panthers 17-3 but required 103 minutes to break the plane of the net to secure today's win.

Rookie goalie Jaisa Loch recorded three stops on the way to her eighth career shutout, and Ferrum's Caitlyn Deaton took the loss for Ferrum.

Head Coach Paul Smith and his staff will celebrate eight seniors prior to Wednesday evening's league match versus N.C. Wesleyan. The first kick is slated for 6 p.m. on the Meredith turf.
