STAUNTON, Va. - The Meredith College tennis team capped off the 2015 regular season with a 9-0 victory over the USA South's Mary Baldwin. The win placed the Angels in fourth-place in the conference tournament seeding with a USA South record of 9-3 (12-5 overall).
Meredith will face the fifth-seeded Covenant Scots in Friday's first round action in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. All tournament matches are scheduled to be played at the Slick Family Foundation Tennis Center on the campus of N.C. Wesleyan. The winner will advance to play the top-seeded Battling Bishops in the semifinals Saturday at 2 p.m.
