Winston Salem, N.C. - The Meredith soccer program scored two first half goals to earn a 2-2 draw with Salem College Saturday afternoon on Salem Soccer Field. 

Meredith (1-5-2, 0-2-2) equalized twice in the first half as senior Emily Haynes found the back of the net off an assist from freshman Laruen Quarantello. The second equalizer came from sophomore Meredith Warrick in the 44th minute. 

Salem (5-5-1, 2-2-1) started the scoring in the 4th minute of play. Meredith was outshot 22-7 but earned three corners just as Salem did. After finding the back of net twice in the first half both teams held the line in the second for the 2-2 draw.

The Avenging Angels are back in action Oct. 15th when they host Mary Baldwin at 3 p.m.
