BREVARD, N.C. -- The Meredith tennis team traveled to Brevard College Monday afternoon. The Avenging Angels fell 6-3 to the Tornados despite having match points on both doubles courts in a tiebreaker and coming up just short. 

Both senior, Aly Henneberry (6-0,7-5) and sophomore, Ryann Jennings (6-4,6-1) secured singles victories today, while the doubles team of Claire Southern and Savannah Duduk (8-2) also captured a point for the Avenging Angels.

The Avenging Angels are back in action Friday, March 25th at 3:00 pm for their first USA South Conference match-up versus the Pride of Greensboro College.
