Fayetteville, NC - The Meredith tennis team (5-8, 3-4) traveled to Fayetteville for a match against the Methodist University Monarchs (12-5, 7-0) Wednesday afternoon. The Monarchs came into the match undefeated in conference play and continued their win streak with a 9-0 victory over Meredith.

The Monarchs won all three doubles flights 8-0 each. In singles play, Meredith won three points out of the 15 sets for the day. Methodist wrapped up play with a 9-0 win over the Avenging Angels.

Meredith is back on the road Thursday, April 14 with a 1:00pm match at Salem College.
