Misenheimer, NC - The Meredith tennis team (4-6, 2-2) fell 7-2 to the Pfeiffer University Falcons (6-5, 2-1) on Saturday afternoon. The Avenging Angels earned a point in doubles, with the team of Ellie Osborne and Aly Henneberry securing an 8-3 victory. 

In singles, freshman, Ellie Osborne battled with Pfeiffer's Darby Sherrill earning the Angels their second point. Osborne's match went into tiebreaker sets where she won by scores of 6-3, 2-6, and 10-6. Senior, Aly Henneberry also played a strong singles match. Henneberry went into a tiebreaker but came up short in the final set.  

The Avenging Angels are back in action Tuesday, April 5 at 4:00 pm as hosts to the William Peace Pacers.
