Raleigh, NC - Prior to the match today, Head Coach Meredith Muempfer and her squad honored Aly Henneberry for her four-year commitment to the program. When speaking about Aly, the team said "Aly has been such an amazing teammate. She is a consistent, encouraging, wise, and intentional leader." 

Despite their well-fought efforts in today's match, the Avenging Angels fell 8-1 to the Southern Virginia Knights. Meredith's doubles team of Claire Southern and Savannah Duduk earned the Angel's point with an 8-6 win over Grace Howell and Moriah Elton.

Meredith tennis is back in action Wednesday, April 13 as they travel to Fayetteville to take on the Monarchs of Methodist University. Match time 3:00pm.
