Raleigh - The Meredith soccer program dropped a home non-conference match 2-0 against Ferrum College Saturday afternoon at Meredith Track and Field Complex.

The game sat scoreless at the half before the Panthers found the back of the net twice with the first goal coming from a penalty kick. 

Ferrum outshot Meredith 16-5 and the Avenging Angels were never able to create a corner kick compared to the Panthers three.

The Avenging Angels are back in action Tuesday the 20th when they travel to Randolph College at 6 p.m.
