DANVILLE, Va. - The Meredith tennis program traveled to old conference foe Averett University Tuesday afternoon where they fell 9-0.

The Cougars were able to start the day with a sweep in doubles action. The junior pairing of Savannah Duduk and Hannah Jo Jablonski dropped the tightest doubles match of the day 8-3.

Sophomore Javi Brito dropped the tightest singles match of the day in No. 6 singles 7-6 (7-3) and 6-3.

The Angels are right back in action tomorrow when they host Methodist for a USA South match at 3 p.m.
