The Avenging Angels, backed by a rock-solid defense and stellar teamwork, dominated the pitch, keeping the Wildcats scoreless throughout the match.
The opening goal came early in the 12th minute, as junior Rebecca Morrison found the back of the net with a precision finish, assisted by Kate Conoley, who set up the play with a sharp pass. Meredith's relentless attack kept the Wildcats on their heels, but the 1-0 score held through halftime.
