RALEIGH, N.C. - The Meredith tennis program dropped a home non-conference match 8-1 against Roanoke College Saturday afternoon at the Meredith Tennis Courts. 

The Maroons started the afternoon sweeping doubles action. The No. 1 doubles slot was the tightest doubles match as junior Claire Southern and fifth year Hannah Higgins fell 8-5.

Junior Ellie Osborne picked up the lone win on the afternoon in the No. 2 singles spot.

Meredith is back in action on March 2nd when they host Hollins at 1 p.m.
