Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Meredith tennis team fell 6-3 in a road USA South match against Salem College Saturday afternoon at the Bert Lain Tennis Courts.

The Angels took two of the three doubles matches to start the afternoon. The Ellie duo of freshman Ellie Phillips and junior Ellie Osborne picked up an 8-2 win at the No. 2 doubles. Followed by senior Hannah Jo Jablonski and sophomore Anna Bittler picking up a win 8-4 in the No. 3 doubles slot. 

Jablonski picked up the lone win in singles action in the No. 4 spot wining in straight sets. 

The Angels are back in action on the road at Pfeiffer University April 10th at 3 p.m.
