Box Score Raleigh, N.C. - On day two of their home tournament, the Meredith College Avenging Angels faced a tough challenge against Bob Jones University, ultimately falling 0-2. The first half was tightly contested, with both teams struggling to create clear chances. While the Bruins held a slight edge in possession, neither side managed much offensive movement until Bob Jones scored just before halftime.

In the second half, Meredith came out stronger, creating several scoring opportunities and putting pressure on the Bruins' defense. Despite a series of shots on goal, the Avenging Angels couldn't find the back of the net. Graduate student goalkeeper Khaliah Jones made several crucial saves to keep Meredith in the game.

As the match progressed, Meredith continued to push for an equalizer, but the Bruins held firm and eventually added a second goal to seal the victory. Although the Avenging Angels came up short, their improved second-half performance offers promise as they look ahead to the next game.

Meredith soccer is on the road next weekend as they travel south to play Huntingdon College and LaGrange College.
