Raleigh, N.C. – The Meredith College Avenging Angels put up a strong fight on Tuesday night but were edged out by the Ferrum College Panthers in a tightly contested match that ended 1-0.

The game, played at Meredith's home field, saw both teams locked in a defensive battle through the first half, entering halftime with the score tied at 0-0. Meredith's defense held firm, while their midfield and offense applied steady pressure, taking 10 total shots, including four on goal. Despite the effort, Ferrum managed to break through at the 63-minute mark, scoring the lone goal of the match.

Meredith responded with unyielding hustle and resilience, keeping their energy high and refusing to back down. The Avenging Angels showed great determination as they continued to create scoring opportunities, but they were unable to find the back of the net.
