"We brought a small group this week to focus on individual performances. The group had to fight some windy conditions, but overall, we had a solid day where the team came to compete. We have a bit of recovery from racing for a week and then it is back to business."
INSIDE THE MEET:
- Abigail Clayton led the way for Meredith in the 200 meters, finishing 16th overall with a time of 26.81.
- In the 400 meters, Clayton had another standout showing, placing 7th overall with a time of 1:01.22, which was her best finish of the day. Casarez also had a solid outing, finishing 10th with a time of 1:03.19. Natasha Elder (1:06.86) and Madelyn Morton (1:07.38) also competed, with Elder finishing 16th and Morton 17th in their respective sections.
- Meredith's Laura Brown ran a determined race in the 3000 meters, securing a 17th-place finish with a time of 12:22.36.
- Ellie-Reed Zimmerman finished 13th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.65 seconds.
- Casarez landed a top ten finish in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing 8th overall with a time of 1:13.51. Her performance was the second-best finish for Meredith at the event.
- Zimmerman also competed in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing 11th with a time of 1:20.74.

- Meredith track and field will travel to Mount Olive, North Carolina for the Adidas Trojan Classic on Friday, March 28th.
