QUOTING HEAD COACH FIELD MILLER:
"Several athletes had big days in the face of a long day of events.
Abigail Clayton stepped up big making the final in the 60m dash, a podium in the 400m, she was pretty gassed in the 200 but bounced back to anchor an extremely exciting 4x4.
Athena Mowatt showed up big with her Shot Put experience and destroyed our school record, big day for her. Maddie Morton had a top 10 in the Shot and in the points for the 400, returning in the 4x4 for a big day as well. A long list of athletes that showed up today for points scoring and personal records. Championship racing is all about place racing and the group did a great job stepping up and holding the expected performance or exceeding individual performances. I was very proud of our performances today and the compete level this group keeps bringing."Â
