LOUISVILLE, Ky. | Lillie Davis earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) First Team All-Region Honors today. Davis had a dominant season as a utility player for the Avenging Angels until injury cut her season short.
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 383 student-athletes from 170 schools who comprise the 2025 NFCA Division III All-Region teams.
Davis made 21 appearances with 15 starts in the circle and pitched to a 11-5 record while recording one save. Over 101 innings of work, Lillie struck out 94 batters, three 10 complete games, logged two shutouts, and held a 2.77 ERA. Lillie struck out the third most batters in the conference with a shortened season.
At the plate, Davis hit .417 and had a .465 on base percentage. Lillie recorded 15 hits, five runs, one double, one triple, and eight RBIs in 36 at bats.
Her strong play until injury earned her First Team All-Conference honors and helped Meredith to the fourth seed in the USA South tournament where the Avenging Angels made it to the semifinals.
The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.
All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 28 online and on-site at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Ill.
