RALEIGH, NC | The USA South Conference announced the 2025 Softball All-Tournament team today. Meredith's
Savannah Talley,
Ashbee Standridge, and
Mariah Bell all earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. The Trio guided the Avenging Angels to the tournament semifinals before falling to the eventual champions, Pfeiffer.
"Ashbee's dominance at the plate this season continued in the tournament," said head coach
Kim Scavone. "With her 16th double of the season, she tied a program record and added two more home runs to her total. Her performance at third was equally impressive."
Scavone spoke highly of Talley's performance in the tournament. "Savannah did a great job for us behind the plate and got our offense started with her double in game one. Her RBI against Pfeiffer was the only run they allowed all weekend."
Kim highlighted the Angels' play of the tournament, made by Bell. "Mariah's diving catch in center to save two runs was a highlight of the tournament and she had some clutch hits as well. Overall, the team played very well, and we are thrilled that these three athletes received this honor."
