WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Meredith College golf team delivered an impressive performance at the Wildcat Spring Invitational at Maple Chase Golf & Country Club, finishing second overall behind a pair of top-three individual finishes and multiple career-best rounds.

Jenna Underwood led the Avenging Angels with a runner-up finish, posting a two-round score of +25 while recording the best collegiate round of her career during the tournament. Teammate Lainey Edwards followed closely with a third-place finish at +29, also marking a personal-best collegiate round.

Meredith continued its strong showing throughout the lineup as Rachel Williamson placed ninth in the field, while Madelyn Caldwell recorded a career-best collegiate round to finish 12th overall.

The performance capped an tournament for the Avenging Angels, who continue to show steady growth as the spring season unfolds.
