Raleigh, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball team finished their home regular season as Methodist University visited Weatherspoon Gymnasium.  The Monarchs defeated the Avenging Angels 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-22, 25-17).  The night featured a pregame ceremony honoring Meredith's trio of seniors Emily Anderson, MaryBeth Finegan and Rebecca Yow.

The Monarchs (18-5, 10-3 USA South) took the first set 25-15, but Meredith (14-10, 7-6)  bounced back to take the second set 25-21.  The Avenging Angels then dropped the next two sets and gave Methodist the victory. The Avenging Angels were led by Molly Markley with 10 kills and two block assists.  Kara Baughman had 25 assists and 13 digs.  The seniors all had double digit digs with Rebecca Yow at 12, MaryBeth FInegan at 11 and Emily Anderson with 10.

Meredith returns to action as they head to Newport News, Va. to face Christopher Newport and Ferrum.
