Volleyball Ends Season in USA South Quarterfinals

Rocky Mount, N.C. - The Meredith volleyball team finished their season with a 3-0 loss to #4 N.C. Wesleyan in the USA South Quarterfinals.  The Avenging Angels were the #5 seed in tournament and are coming off their best season in the conference.  N.C. Wesleyan won the sweep 25-12, 25-20, 25-18.

Meredith was led by Molly Markley with nine kills while Cori Spade put down eight of her own.  Kara Baughman led with 25 assists and 15 digs.  Seniors MaryBeth Finegan and Emily Anderson both pulled up 14 digs each.  

The Avenging Angels complete their season with a 17-13 overall record and 10-8 in the USA South regular season.
