STAUNTON, Va. - Amanda White tallied three home runs in Sunday's doubleheader sweep over Mary Baldwin to top the Meredith College all-time record book with 25 career homers. The Avenging Angels defeated Baldwin 11-0 in five innings in both games to close out the 2015 season.

White jumpstarted the day with her first of two doubles, and Erica Occena pushed her to second on a single to right. Occena stole second, and White scored on the play to put the Angels on the board. A home run from rookie Sarah Watson added two more runs in the top of the frame to give MC a 3-0 lead heading into the second.

The Meredith bats continued to swing in the top of two as Julia Allsrbook led off the inning with a double to right. Katie Kepley drilled a home run to center, and White recorded her first homer of the day to push the Angel advantage to six.

Meredith scored four more runs in the fourth thanks in part to another two-RBI homer from Watson en route to the first win of the day.

Game two opened with White's second home run of the day, as she tied the Meredith record at 24 career homers. Katlyn Johnson scored three on a home run later in the frame to advance the Angels lead to four.

Meredith added five more runs on two hits in the fourth inning to extend their advantage to nine, and White capped off the win on a two-RBI homer to close out her tremendous four-year career in the top of the fifth.
