Buena Vista, Va. - The Meredith basketball program fell 86-58 at Southern Virginia Saturday afternoon inside Knight Arena.

The Knights outscored the Angels 25-11 in the first quarter to establish an early lead. Southern Virginia turned the ball over 22 times but shot 42.6 percent compared to Merediths 34.4 percent. 

Senior Kate Perko tallied another double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds while junior De'ja Morgan added 13 points.

Meredith is back in action Dec. 17th when they host Bridgewater at 2 p.m.
